Why a survey?
- To act as a starting point which will enable me to progress with responsive design.
- I’d like to see whether people view the same site across different platforms (i.e. desktop, tablet, mobile)…
- ASSUMPTION: the majority of people view certain sites depending on the device used – because the user experience is better on one device than another.
- Since my topic concerns responsive design and digital marketing, it would also be interesting to see whether people buy online using a responsive site on their mobile phone, or whether they’d use a native app.

2. How many different devices do you access the internet from?
3. How often do you buy products online?
4. Which platform do you typically use to buy from the internet?
5. Have you ever bought a product online using a mobile device? i.e. a tablet or mobile?
If not, is there a reason why?
6. Is there a typical site you’d use across all 3 platforms? If yes, what?
7. If no, please specify why? Is it down to insufficient User Experience?
8. How would you react if you viewed a non-mobilised website on a mobile device?
9. Are there any websites which have an App as well as a mobile site that you have preference on which you use?
10. If yes, Can you give an example of the website?
