One Shot Edit - Again!

Having gathered feedback from a number of people, 3 of them suggested adding a title to my film, allowing the audience to be aware of what the film is about. Yesterday I created a final edit, with an added title. Enjoy!

Interactive Space - The Completion!

Last Thursday I completed my Interactive Space project. I found this task really simple which was disappointing but good at the same time. I am hoping to go into this pathway in second year, so I was hoping for more of a challenge! However I was pleased this was the last project because it was less time consuming.

Having mapped out the pages and knowing which pages linked to which, I edited the images taken in Photoshop (as shown below). To edit these, I altered the colour to black & white, and also added a speech bubble and text to selected images. Finally, with the use of Dreamweaver, I added hotspots to the images and linked them together.

During this project I learned a number of things. Firstly I learned that planning is an important aspect, before creation. Planning the project helped me identify where the pages linked to. Additionally, I learned not to leave the 'taking photographs' until the last minute, incase they do not turn out as planned! In future projects, I will plan my time affectively.

If I had the opportunity to repeat this project, I would most likely change my idea altogether. I found myself under pressure during the last few weeks with my own one-shot edit, Context 1 assignment and finding a good story line for Interactive Space. Having extra time to produce this project may have helped. However on a whole, I enjoyed this project.
